The Erie County Library is one of my favorite places to go. It's beautiful inside with endless resources for all ages. There is an enormous music section that I frequent that is always stocked with newer release CD's and also older treasures. I love taking my kids there. It's a great atmosphere for a family. The Erie Maritime Museum is in the same building and worth a look. I recommend anyone pay a visit to this beautiful library.
This is an amazing library. The idea lab is free and offers a podcast room and greenscreen. They also offer many different tools and projects you can rent out. This is a great place to bring your kids, and they also offer classes all the time. You can learn so much here! It is very peaceful and a great place to bring your work.
Great library. Beautiful view. So many activities. And large selection. Very modern. Fun for the whole family
Beautiful library with look out areas for views of the bay or the Niagara when it is in the harbor. Multiple areas for study whether you prefer a firm table or a chair to relax in, they have it. They have an excellent selection of books including an extensive children's library and a local history room. This library also has multiple online tools and participates in lending programs so if they don't have it, they can probably get it.
Co located in front of the library is the 911 memorial as well as memorial to Brigadier General Strong Vincent a local hero during the United States Civil war , there is several schools named in his honor and monuments to this American military officer , I love history and this man is some good local history .
Most impressive public library I've ever seen. Must see! University quality and construction with views overlooking the water. Wide selection - books, movies of course but also a 3D printing lab, recording studio, sewing machines, Cricuts, and much more. You can even check out fishing poles! This library serves as a model to others - be ahead of the curve and innovative and attract the community again. Seriously wish I lived there and could have a card.
I love going to the Blasco Memorial Library with my best friend and getting books and hanging out in the teen section! (I would like if they posted that the summer reading challenge winners have been contacted though but what can you do)
Raymond M Blasco, MD Memorial Library!
Is a very nice aesthetic looking Library!
Has plenty of space for all,
The different sections of the library!
Maintenance does a very good job,
Of keeping the library clean!
So, it's really nice and comforting,
To enter a public establishment,
Such as dedicated to,
The honorable,
Dr. Raymond M Blasco, MD Memorial Library!
The library offers carpeting on most of the floors!
Certain areas have no carpeting for Obvious reasons!
Like, front entrance foyer in between
the automatic double-double doors,
hallways and bathrooms, all open areas,
In between the library, conference rooms,
Women's and men's bathrooms, The Cafe,
Erie maritime Museum and Hirt Auditorium.
